Wednesday Night Went to the Dogs

So I had an interesting evening. I ran into the garage to get something to run back to Meg and 3 dogs came running to see me! I was a little worried cuz 2 were pitbulls but all were wagging their tails and licking me so they seemed ok. So i tried not to startle them or anything and had my mom bring out the phone book so I could call Animal Control if I had to. But I decided to see if they had any phone numbers etc on them. So I worked up the nerve to see if I could check the big ones collar since he seemed sweet. A NAME!! AND A NUMBER!! I tried several times and finally left a message. Then tried animal control...no answer. Then tried the police...no animal control on call. So I thought I'd have to let them wander. I have no where to keep them. So I tried the number 2 more times and got an answer!!! Yay! So I got to play with 3 sweet doggies while we waited for their mom to come get them. And the lady was SO thankful that animal control wasn't involved, and that they were safe, she gave me $20.
Apparantly she'd had an issue with them getting loose before and would have had to do jail time if they were loose again. Thank goodness it worked out the way it did.
