Sept and Oct 2015

September and October were SO busy.

Sept 7th was my 19th baptism anniversary!!  The 17th was our 10 wedding anniversary.

So the 17th I had to work part of the day and then we went to Mudshark for dinner, then out to a movie.  Before the movie we stopped into GameStop and Nick got me the 10th Doctor!!!

We had a good night.  Then the 18th we had off work and went with Charlie and Kristine to see Weird Al in concert!!!  My first real concert and it was a BLAST!!!!

Weird Al is AMAZING!!!

I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.  

The 19th we had a group come up from Phoenix from the ASL cong to help us search our area for deaf ones that speak ASL to hopefully start a group here eventually.  We got a really nice couple who I'm now trying to study with, so now I'm learning some ASL to help them learn the Bible.  Whew!  So Sunday the 20 the group translated the meeting.

So very cool.

The 27th Mama and Sarah threw an Open House party for us.  We had a really good time.  LOL we look kinda goofy cuz we'd been in the pool and Holly insisted on getting our picture.

Sarah, Jason, Sarina, Alta and Arnie got us a TARDIS cookie tin!!

And Sarina made these!  She is SO talented.

They also got the kitties a toy.  LOL  They love it.

Then this month.

I did early service on the 5th.  It POURED rain.  And we had a gorgeous rainbow for a good long time.

The 5th it was announced that beginning January the mid week meetings will have a new format and that the magazines will come out every other month.

This past Thursday the 8th Haggan's pharmacy closed and we took it over.  So all the customer files came over and they brought all the inventory over.  What a blow.  Whew.  I worked 12 hours Thursday, went back at 2 am thru 4:15am to scan in the controls.  Then worked Friday 10-7:745.  

Service Sat then worked 2-7.  Whew!  

Yesterday, Sat, I got to go see the deaf couple again and we watched the second lesson in Listen to God and Live Forever.  They lent me a signing book.  To help me learn,

Someone gave us gift certificates for the movies so last night we went to see 

The Martian.

I laughed and then cried then cried while laughing etc.

Cute movie but I wish they didn't feel the need to put so many swear words in movies now.

So that brings me to today.  I baked a couple instant apple pies.  They smell so good.  Then we'll head for the gym.

Week after next we're going on a little cruise with Mike and Holly, and of course its CO week too. So we'll have to get the mid week meeting this week when they visit South.  Sigh.  Such is life.
