OK... Maybe Not

Yesterday was a rocky stomach day, the day before was iffy, today after I finish writing my triumphant PPI Free post etc was AWFUL, the pits, like shoot me I'm dying. I spoke to the pharmacist today. She said I technically did it right but my body, after so many years of being on this med may need some more adjustment time. So, per her instructions I need to go back on omeprazole for a couple weeks, on as low of a dose as I can but that still gets me symptom free. Then start weaning again but slower. Omeprazole day then pepcid day, alternating daily for two weeks, then start lowering omeprazole again on its days. Sigh. In the meantime I'll establish my herbs. I hate this.
